Bendición o castigo (2004)
In this piece —whose name translates as Blessing or Punishment— my intention was to create an image that inspired anxiety, a video or a projected animation that shows a torrential downpour of rain, but, rather than water, the drips that would fall would be black and subsequently everything would turn black. As well as the typical sound of rainfall, the sound that accompanied the image was a continuous that resembled thunder, as if it were a very strange “natural” or man-made disaster.
